How It Works
Comeback Round triggers automatically when you're on the brink of elimination. You don't choose it — it just happens. You get two small boosts: a Heart Shield that absorbs your next wrong answer without costing a life, and Bonus Time that gives you a few extra seconds on upcoming questions. The shield expires after a few questions if unused. Neither boost changes scoring or difficulty. This can only happen once per run.
Why It Matters
Comeback Round is the game throwing you a rope. It doesn't save you — you still have to answer correctly — but it buys you breathing room when things get tight. The Heart Shield in particular can mean the difference between a mediocre run and a great one.

Tips
- Don't waste the Heart Shield on a question you could have gotten right anyway
- The extra time is subtle but helps on long-winded questions
- If you're in Comeback and a risky mode offer appears, think twice — the shield only covers one wrong answer
- This won't trigger in Exhibition Mode
