How It Works
Last Stand can randomly trigger when you lose your last heart. Instead of immediate elimination, you're offered a single question with a point bonus and a shorter timer. All lifelines are locked out. Get it right and you survive — heart restored, bonus banked. Get it wrong and it's game over. Not guaranteed to appear, so don't count on it.
Why It Matters
Last Stand is the most dramatic moment in the game. When it appears, everything else fades away and it's just you and one question. The shorter timer and locked lifelines mean there's nowhere to hide. It's pure knowledge under pressure.

Tips
- You can decline, but why would you? You're already eliminated otherwise
- The shorter timer means you need to decide fast
- No lifelines means no safety net — if you don't know it, you don't know it
- This only appears once per run and isn't guaranteed, so treat it as a bonus
