Confidence Call

How It Works

Before each question in this mode, you rate your confidence: Low, Medium, or High. Higher confidence means bigger bonuses on correct answers, but steeper penalties if you're wrong. Low confidence is safe — a smaller bonus with no downside. If your confidence accurately matches your results across the whole sequence, you earn a calibration bonus that scales with speed. Hearts are protected throughout.

Why It Matters

Confidence Call rewards honest self-assessment. Going high on everything sounds tempting, but one wrong answer at high confidence costs you and breaks the calibration streak. The best strategy depends on whether you trust your instincts or want to play it safe.

Tips

  • Low confidence is never wrong — you get a smaller bonus but zero penalty
  • Only go High when you're genuinely sure, not when you're hoping
  • The calibration bonus is worth chasing if you've been accurate
  • Your hearts are safe, so the worst outcome is lost points, not lost lives
