Reverse Round

How It Works

Instead of a question with answer choices, you're shown an answer and must pick the correct question from a set of options. For example, the answer "1969" might appear, and you'd choose between questions about the Moon landing, the internet, and WWII. All lifelines work as usual and scoring is the same. You can decline with no penalty.

Why It Matters

Reverse Round is a fun change of pace that tests your knowledge from a completely different angle. It rewards lateral thinking — you need to connect the answer to the right context, which is a different skill than eliminating wrong answers.

Tips

  • Read all the question options carefully before committing
  • The answer is usually specific enough that only one question fits perfectly
  • Lifelines all work here, so don't forget about them
  • Declining is always free — no shame in skipping if you're not feeling it
